Veggies and Socks
First, of course, comes Little Man and his 4-months of cuteness:

The in-laws are in town for a visit so we all went down to Pikes Place to walk around. We had a lovely lunch looking out over the water (Mmmm fish n chips!). We bought some fresh fruits and veggies to take home for dinner, and some beautiful fresh cut flowers. I particularly liked the green-bean guardian:

And in knitting news: I finally picked up my needles again! I signed up for a toe-up sock class at the local knitting shop
Here is what I have so far, knit with Koigu yarn and size 2 circular needle using the Magic Loop method. I love how it is turning out:

I start back to work this Thursday. My stint as a stay-at-home-mom is coming to an end. Pisser. Little Man gets to spend a month with DH while he is on paternity leave. So you can enjoy picturing him as Mr. Mom ![]()

Lucy,
The pics are so colorful. Sounds like a really nice time at the market. Eli looks so much like Jeremy in that picture. The smile, the chin, the twinkle in his eyes.
And the sock is turning out really nicely.
You’ll be fine after a few days at work. It will be hard at first, but it will come back to you and you will get into a routine. We can email a lot at first until you get too busy.

Little man is SO cute! I’m so jealous you guys get to live in Seattle, it looks like an awesome place, I’ve never been there! That stinks that you have to go back to work, but you guys will get back into a routine, that’s awesome that DH gets to stay at home with him though! Your socks look great, I have yet to try the socks on circulars, but would like to try someday soon once I start clearing off my WIP list!
