Little Updates
A few weeks ago I was signed up for a knitting class (top-down no-seams raglan sweater) at a local yarn shop. But no one else signed up for the class so it was canceled - very sad. The instructor called me and said I could come to an ongoing intermediate “project” class where people work on whatever they want, and she would get me going on the sweater. Cool! So I went for 2 Monday nights and knit this:

Pattern: Children’s Neck Down Pullover (modified to be a smaller baby size)
Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Dreambaby DK (2 balls)
Needles: US 5 circular and DPN
Notes: I love this technique! I hate seaming up a sweater, so this was sooo much better. And it was so fast to knit because it was all circular as opposed to back and forth.
Next up are some baby socks. I’ve never knit socks before - I’m starting little
I found this free pattern: Better-Than-Booties Baby Socks. I’m trying the basic version “Ruffle Ribs”. Its fun so far! I turned the heel today while watching football:

We had a productive weekend - those always feel good. We put together our nursery furniture. J raked up all those leaves from our backyard since the snow melted away. We went out for dinner with some friends last night and then came back to our place to play Carcassonne. J went skiing today for the first time this season with some buddies from work (I couldn’t partake - boooo). That’s OK, I sat home and watched football and knit ![]()
