Nursery - Fabric Panels
I was inspired by this blog’s post about fabric panels: here. So this weekend while Dad watched football (in all fairness, he helped; he cut the foamcore into the pieces!), Eileen and I covered the foamcore pieces with fabric from Amy Butler’s line of fabrics that I had picked out. Not very baby-ish, but I didn’t really want baby-ish. I like the way they turned out! They are laid out on carpet for now, but here are the two collages we came up with:

One can go over the crib and one over the dresser/changing area. The walls are a pale yellow and we aren’t going to bother repainting. So these won’t clash too badly! With the left over fabric I’m going to make a simple block quilt. The nursery might even look planned and coordinated! Hah! (J and I have never painted or “coordinated” a room in our lives).
