How great is the J-man? He got me an iPod Nano for my birthday!! So now I can fill it up with all of my music and use it in Crafty Prius’s auxillary input. Not that I don’t like the music on his iPod… but well…he’d be embarrassed to have artists like Nick Lachey on his iPod. Woops! Did I say that I had Nick Lachey music? I mean my music like ABBA and musicals… Anyway, J is on a plane to NYC right now and so he missed my happy dance as the FedEx truck pulled up. The dog saw it though. And didn’t understand the excitement over a little tiny silver thing. Brown crunchy things get her excited…

Anyway… on to projects! I’m making serious effort to finish up projects I have started but not completed. Probably more than a year ago I bought the Fiber Trends Felted Clogs pattern and bought the wool and knit and felted one clog and said “pretty cool!” Needless to say the yarn and pattern sat in their bag. And sat on a moving truck from Chicago to Seattle. One lonely slipper in a bag of yarn! So this weekend I finally knit up its match. Lesson learned: If you are going to knit a pair of something, do it at the same time. Some things in the pattern I couldn’t remember how I had done it the first time. So they don’t match perfectly. Which isn’t a big deal because then you felt it. But now it is a different washing machine, and so it didn’t turn out the same size. Both are a tad big for me, so I might have to felt them both some more. Here are two pictures before felting the second clog. You can see the “before and after” so to speak:
