Lucy’s Crafty Thoughts

We are back from Australia and had a fabulous time! Kind of weird coming home to a house that doesn’t quite feel like home yet. But that is ok! So far I love the Seattle summer weather. Apparently we missed the “hot” days where it got to 90-degrees. Now the highs are in the 70’s and it is sunny almost every day. We open up the windows for nice breezes - I have one blowing on me in my office right now. So lovely.

J got done with orientation early today and his boss doesn’t want to see him until tomorrow morning, so he came home and is mowing the lawn now Next on our list of things we need badly is a vacuum cleaner! In Evanston all we had were wood floors and the little canister vacuum worked fine. Now we have some carpeted rooms, and with the dog hair, it is driving me nuts! So if you know of a good vacuum for dog hair, let me know!

I’m still on the waiting list for a Prius. Now that J has started work, that means I am carless! Bah!
