First Mariners Game
Happy Wednesday!
Last night we went to our first Mariners game. They played the Yankees. And apparently won! We left at the bottom of the 6th inning
It is a really nice stadium with lots of good food choices. Including garlic fries. Mmmm. I am still tasting them today however.
Also, I have to share with you my new favorite thing! Well, maybe not favorite thing, but thing I like a lot. It is Olay in shower body lotion. After you are all clean but still in the shower, you use this stuff, rinse it off, and then towel dry. I love it! I feel “moisturized” hours later still. I got the shea butter version and like the smell also. I guess I can’t say I’m not affiliated, what with big sis working for P&G, but regardless, I would still recommend this stuff
Out here in Seattle we don’t have air conditioning units. This is very strange to J and I. In Austin we had TWO ac units for our house! So when the thermometer says our bedroom is 80+ degrees at night, no one gets a good night sleep. It was like that over the weekend and early this week here. But last night it cooled back off into the 50’s. Ahhh… so nice to sleep with the windows open.
Nerdy Friends are Cool:
I almost forgot to post the result of a co-worker of mine! We are both fans of the online cartoon Homestar Runner. One of the characters is “The Cheat”. And in a recent toon, The Cheat was knitting! Eric created this gif file for me (click on it for the animated version):
And I almost forgot to mention in our busy weekend, that we installed a new shower head in our guest bathroom so that guests over 5-feet tall can use it. I know you want a blue tub like this for YOUR home
Hey, we rent… and if it does look better in person. OK, not by much. Sorry future guests! We are like a 5-star hotel though - we provide clean towels and shampoo/soap/hairdryer ![]()
