Lucy’s Crafty Thoughts

First off, the cuteness that is my sleeping dog and her bear:

It is views like that, when I can’t stand looking at my computer anymore, that make it all OK.

So one little quirk of DH is his habit of leaving beverages scattered about the home. Usually empty, but sometimes not. This doesn’t really bother me so much… it is like he leaves little messages for me. For example, from the following picture I know how his morning went before he left for campus:

1. He woke up and poured himself some coffee. I make the coffee in the morning and make half caf half decaf. If it is all caffeine first thing in the morning I shake and can’t type. I think he would prefer all caf, but hey, it is made and hot in the pot, so he goes with it.
2. While I was out meeting some friends for lunch, he heated up some leftovers and went with a Diet Rite. We have no other caffeine in our house at the moment, so Diet Rite it is. I know he heated up leftovers cuz they are sitting by the sink. I do this too, so I can’t complain.
3. I come home and bring my drink from lunch, which I never finish. Ever. He takes the opportunity to caffinate himself before heading to campus by finishing off my Diet Coke, he has come to expect this.
I just thought this scene was so funny… drinks all in a line, pushed back to make room for the next… all consumed in less than 3 hours while he sat at the table with his laptop open reading the news and doing classwork. And notice the roses? Those were part of my belated Valentines gift, aren’t they lovely?
