Seattle-bound!

Well… after many stress-induced-zits… we finally decided on our post-graduation destination. DH and I and the dog will be moving west and landing in Seattle. I’m sad to be moving so far away from my family… but excited for an adventure and a new place (not to mention income from DH again!). So now, for those that know me, I have to try and not start worrying about it all - trust me, I can worry about anything, I would gold-medal in it if there were olympics for worrying. In fact, the first thing that I started worrying about was the logistics of getting our dog from Chicago to Seattle in the middle of summer - airlines don’t fly animals in cargo during hot months. So she might be chillin in the Cincinnati with The Fam til they can ship her to us… which makes me sad.

Anyway… so I have this New Year’s holiday card/letter all ready to send out. But I don’t have stamps. And it is totally disgusting out - heavy wet snow coming down on the already wet and gross ground making slippery sidewalks and huge slush puddles. So I don’t want to walk to the post office, or anywhere really. I wish I had the stuff so that I could print my own stamps. They should sell sheets of stamp-size stickers and let you buy them online and print them (someone tell me if this is already possible). So, I’m pushing that off til tomorrow. Stepho’s uber-late Christmas gift will get mailed then as well :)

You can make your own postage. Stamps.com I think? My sister-in-law had some made out of a picture of one of my quilts
