On My Needles

This blog entry could take all day to work on. So I’ll see what I can come up with as the day goes on. Since one of my resolutions was to finish some projects before starting new ones, I need to list my projects!
Almost Done (off the needles, but not “finished”)
- cable scarf, gray alpaca
- ribby cardi, brown and green wool/camel blend
- baby hat, cascade fixation

In the Middle
- baby surprise jacket (Elizabeth Zimmerman), pink and purple DK weight blend, super soft
- wrist warmers, plymouth suri merino/alpaca blend - green
- felted clog slippers, cascade 220 wool (one done, one to go!)
- furry scarf, some silky ribbon yarn and some soft eyelashy yarn in reds
- cork screw scarf (Ruffles from Scarf Style), brown and pink wool/silk blend
- clapotis 2, wool/silk blend Fourplay in Picante from Brooks Farm Yarn

Not Yet Begun - but have the yarn
- a lace scarf, Smith & Jamieson wool
- ribby cardi 2, cascade 220 wool in brown and pink
- baby surprise jacket 2, Shetland Jumper Wool in pinks
- more baby hats, Cascade Fixation

Wow, that’s a long list! I’m actually only working on two projects right now, but the list of things I want to knit is looong. Perhaps we can see your ribby cardi next week…?

I don’t know if you’re the kind of person who works well under artificial deadlines, but one of the best things I did was to make a goal of finishing my unfinished projects in 100 days. I have now finished 8 of the 10, mostly because I blogged about it and told people, so I feel accountable. Though I have to admit most of the work has been done towards the end of the 100 days…!
