She knits! She knits!
So I am taking this Beginning Knitting course through the university. Meets on Monday nights. And we have an ex-NFL player in our class! He graduated from Northwestern in 1998 and played for the NFL and now is back in Evanston. Anyway, it is fun having a guy in the class.
GoodFriend was here this past weekend to visit from Austin. yay! Unfortunately the weather took a turn for Autumn and it was gray and windy and COLD. So she was all too happy to head back to the warmth of the south. 
I miss Austin. But I think our dog really likes the cool breezes. When we go for walks she just sticks her nose in the air and lets the wind blow through her hair and she seems very pleased.
But I had forgotten how much I hate the cold. I pulled out my little space heater that I had in my office before. It is under my desk now to keep my toes warm! I’m such a wimp.
So for my birthday, my sis got me a gift certificate for iTunes. I’ve been having so much fun searching for and downloading songs. More variety for my workday now.
New things I’m into:
- ABC drama: LOST, Desperate Housewives
- the book Wicked by Gregory Maguire
- knitting and yarn
- iTunes and my new Rosie Thomas CD
