This thing is ginormous
How does one spell ginormous, by the way?
Anyway, I am SO pleased because I have all my diagonal rows of my bloomin 9-patch sewn. I didn’t think I’d get that far along on my trip to Austin, so I didn’t bring the triangles that I need to sew onto the end of each row before I can actually sew the rows together. But I’m hoping GoodFriend will let me borrow her digital camera to take a picture of the quilt all laid out to post here 
I’m quite pleased with it! But the thing is HUGE! It is for our pillow-top king-size bed, so I made it big enough to hang down and cover the whole mattress…but seeing it laid out is impressive.
Today my group at work is going to the SaltLick for lunch. Yippee!! We have a fellow in from Munich and we thought we’d take him for some good BBQ.
