The Princess Diaries
Well, I’m in Cincinnati this week visiting with my mom. We rented the Princess Diaries DVD last night… neither one of us had seen it and we felt like we were out of the loop. So now we are all ready to see Princess Diaries 2. While watching the movie we treated ourselves to one of our secret pleasures: a hot fudge sundae with nuts from McDonalds. ![]()
This blog is supposed to be about my crafty endeavors. With all the moving and unpacking I haven’t done much sewing. And I’ve decided that I want to jump on the knitting bandwagon and learn how to knit. My goal is to be able to knit a sweater I can wear this winter. Now that I live somewhere I can actually wear sweaters!!
Well, gray day here. Supposed to rain soon. Good reason to stay in and sew!

“The Princess Diaries” is (embarrassingly) (at least to me) one of my girlfriend’s favorite movies. One day I was making fun of it and she got mad, and when I asked her if she was serious, she said, “Hello!?!? It’s about a girl who finds out she’s a princess! And who has curly hair!” Apparently, the curly hair part was important to her. I suppose discovering that you’re secretly a princess is a big female fantasy. This is similar to boys who like to imagine that they have as-of-yet undiscovered super powers.

so if you have curly hair, and your girlfriend has curly hair, then wouldn’t your future daughter be a princess?
