Chick Flicks
I am back in Austin for 10 days for work. And I’m staying with a good friend… whose husband is conveniently off camping/hiking with the rest of his family. What to do? Watch chick flicks it seems. Let’s see…I flew in Sunday at dinner time. We promptly went to dinner and then to see Princess Diaries 2 (v. good). Then Monday we went to blockbuster and rented the following: DirtyDancing-Havana Nights, Chasing Liberty, and 50 First Dates. I’ll pause while you finish rolling your eyes.
I brought my nine-patches with me to work on while at GoodFriend’s house since she has an AWESOME sewing studio with a floor space big enough to lay out the king size quilt. So each night we eat, watch olympics and a chick flick. The hubby calls at 11:30pm and says “you’re still up??”. Time flies when sewing and watching chick flicks. And in the end, he is grateful that he didnot have to watch listed chick flicks with me.
Incase anyone is interested, here are my reviews so far:
1. Princess Diaries 2 - total cheese, but so good. Hot guy.
2. Dirty Dancing 2 - total cheese and not that good. Hot guy.
3. Chasing Liberty - total cheese, beautiful scenary, Mandy Moore is an annoying actress (altho she was good in Saved). Hot guy with sexy voice.
