Lucy’s Crafty Thoughts

Yay! Another season of The Amazing Race has started! I tried to get DH to apply with me to be on that show and he said “no… you have no sense of direction in any town… i’d kill you for sure”

While it was on, I managed to get a TON of sewing done. I finished up my last round of 9-patches for this king-size quilt. So now… I get to lay it all out and start sewing blocks together. Think it can get done before I have to pack up my sewing stuff??

Speaking of packing… I HATE packing. hate it hate it hate it. Instead I cross my arms and pout. Which DH doesn’t find very amusing. I have to be in the right mood to pack, and that mood hasn’t struck me yet .

We ordered a new digital camera for our adventures this summer! First the drive cross-country, then the move into Evanston, then maybe back to Austin for work (and I get to stay with Stepho - yay!), then a wedding in Milwaukee, then our KAOS trip to Costa Rica . And then I sleep…
