Lucy’s Crafty Thoughts

Well. Can I just say how excited I am? Myself and 2 other gals from my quilting group have decided to all make a bloomin 9-patch quilt. Stephannie and I are making a king size version and Jessica is making a slightly smaller one. So we met at our LQS last night and all bought our fabric. So much fun! Thank goodness we re-calculated the yardage from what EQ5 told us to buy. We saved ourselves about 50%. Let’s just cross our fingers our math was correct and we won’t be sorry later! We wrote down the names/color/style numbers of all the fabrics so we can go back for more if needed. I really hope we have enough though. I’m going to try and keep this blog updated with our progress. I’m leaving town mid-July so the goal is to have it all pieced before I leave!
