Strip Club
This past weekend I washed, starched, and pressed ALL that freakin fabric I bought. Pathetically I enjoyed ironing out all those wrinkles
[whisper]Mom, is that you? am I turning into my mother?
[/whisper]. Then Saturday Stephannie and Jessica came over and we started cutting the jazillion 2″ strips we need for this quilt. I could hear my wrist scream “carpal tunnel!! carpal tunnel!!”
. I got through 6 of my 9 fabrics.
Then Sunday, J and I went with Tom and Stepho to see Harry Potter
. So good. And Tom shared his popcorn with me. Dude, $3.50 for a small Diet Coke!?! What is wrong with this world?? I’m sneaking in a can from home next time. And I’m not gonna feel bad about it
.
Then each night this week I’ve cut some more strips. And more strips. I’m onto fabric 9 and just have a few more to go. Should get those done tonight. Maybe I’ll even start stitching! I know… I’m a wild and crazy gal…
Cool article of the day: Study finds dogs understand language. Somehow I don’t see Sydney understanding “Go walk around the block, do your business, and lock the door when you come back in”…

i’m so impressed with your quilting. and what a great idea to keep a blog on your progress. i keep one for running, but it has my weight on it, so i don’t share it.
i finished knitting a top last night (for myself) and sewed the pieces together, and then slip stitched the bottom. for some reason, the shoulders ended up really funky, so i need to adjust them. but i can’t wait to see the finished product. i’ll have to email a pic if it’s decent.
did jeremy tell you the clock story?
i loved hp and dropped $4 something on popcorn. sigh. i usually smuggle my own in but ran out of time.
keep me posted!a.
