So much is going on!
Long time no news, eh? Well… let’s see… since last I updated here… we’ve been to Evanston to visit Kellogg business school, decided it as the best option for us, put our house on the market, cleaned our house top to bottom, and now our house is “contract pending” (fingers crossed!). Phew. I’m exhausted. But in there I managed to finish a quilt… yes, I’m impressed with myself 
It was a rag quilt from that class I took back in February. Lap quilt size. I plan to give it to my mom. And then pick out more flannel and make one for myself. It’s so nice and snuggly!
Mom is in town visiting. She leaves Thursday and will be taking my kitty home with her on the plane. So I’ll be bawling on Thursday I’m sure. But… it is best for everyone. She’ll get a whole dog-free house and a screened in porch!! And the tiny condo we’re going to rent in Evanston would be a tight fit for all of us. Cross your fingers that adjustment goes well!
